Artworks by Viren Tanwar & Madan Lal. Art Desh - The studio and Aura Art proudly present the works of renowned artists Viren Tanwar and Madan Lal. Born in 1952 in Haryana Viren Tanwar had the rare honour to study at the Slade School of Arts, London during 1984 - 85 on a British Council Scholarship. Prior to that he did his Diploma in Drawing and Painting from Government College of Art at Chandigarh in 1974.
He has received several awards including the Kala Shree and Dr M S Randhawa Memorial Award by AIFACS, New Delhi in 1997 and 1985 respectively. His paintings have been extensively exhibited as part of several prestigious shows worldwide apart from various solo shows.

Madan Lal is a gifted artist who has a distinctive signature style that speaks of irrepressible life force. His imagery is at once figurative, mysterious and communicable. He has several solo and group shows to his credit. He has also displayed at Nehru Center , London in 2008, eliciting rave response. He received Gold medals at the AIFACS Millennium Exhibition, 2000 and the All India Millennium Drawings Exhibition. Born in 1964 in Punjab, he did BFA from Government College of Art at Chandigarh .
